Curls All Out was opened on January 26th, 2017, by owner Iris C. Her personal journey with accepting her natural curls led her down the path of pursuing a career in becoming a Curl Specialist. Iris is a firm believer in that embracing your natural curls comes first from your heart, then from your stylist. Iris has been blowout free since 2012 and she believes that for her clients to achieve maximum curl retention its best to keep your curls in their natural state always, no matter what occasion. It’s all about being true to yourself and feeling confident.
Iris trained in NYC, taking various classes allowing her to become a Deva Certified Stylist, through the Deva Curl Academy. Iris also has taken the Art of Texture class, allowing her to master the skills required to cater to coily hair.
Our approach with curly hair is to embrace what it naturally wants to do all while catering to each client’s specific needs. Our goal is to have every person walk out with their own unique style, understanding that just like people, no two curls are the same.
We also provide color services that are catering to each curl type. We make sure that while we get you to your desired color that your curls are staying as healthy and defined as when we started. Our Pintura Highlighting technique is a hand painted curl by curl highlighting service. Unlike regular foil highlights, the Pintura technique highlights each curl’s individual movement, has a more natural grow out and is less damaging to curls.
